This year the event be an IN PERSON TURKEY TROT beginning and ending at The Beacon Tap.
Participants encouraged to bring items for the food pantry.
Forest Ave between Lee St & Wolf Rd will closed for the Turkey Trot
2022 Forest School Neighbors and Friends filled 2 vehicles with donations of Non-perishable food items.
No registration fee for the 2022 Turkey Trot – only donations of food for the Des Plaines Food Pantry. The collection van was full and we couldn’t be happier about the community support for the food pantry.
About Us
In the fall of 2018 a group of neighbors near Forest Elementary School decided to coordinate a Turkey Trot to bring our community together and support the local food pantry.
